Although successful, Cavendish Maine recognized they needed to strengthen their brand identity and be seen as one business with a strong united front. They realized they were missing an opportunity to communicate this both internally and externally and came to me to see if I could create a new brand identity that would embody their ethos of, “absolute focus on the perfect solution”.
I started by creating a logo using the beautiful nautilus shell. A powerful symbol for evolution and growth, it seemed the perfect fit for the Cavendish Maine brand and formed a strong foundation on which to build a new tone of voice and visual identity. A strong, purposeful colour palette using cadmium red, yellow ochre, cobalt blue, and zinc white was defined along with a new photographic library made up of images that resonated with their ethos. This set Cavendish Maine apart from their competitors and I went on to roll out the brand across all marketing materials, including website, company brochure, and a portfolio of stationary.
